Cape Henlopen State Park
in Lewes
You can camp right on the beach at this gorgeous state park, set on the mouth of Delaware Bay. On this stretch of sand, you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and much more.  Build a sandcastle,

Rehoboth Beach

North and Brandywine River
New Castle
Tour a number of historic homes and buildings, including the George Reed House and gardens.  Built in 1801 in the Federal style by one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.  12 rooms are open to the public, three of which are in the Colonial Revival style.

Dover

Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge
